Joshua Edwards was born on Galveston Island. He’s the author of The Double Lamp of Solitude, Architecture for Travelers, The Exhausted Dream, Castles and Islands, Imperial Nostalgias, Campeche, and Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa; and he translated María Baranda's Ficticia and co-translated two books by Yang Licai / Da Yong: Pee Poems and Prison Poems & Temple Speak. Edwards directs Canarium Books, and teaches at Columbia University and Pratt Institute.
Lynn Xu was born in Shanghai. She’s the author of And Those Ashen Heaps That Cantilevered Vase of Moonlight (Wave Books), Debts & Lessons (Omnidawn), and two chapbooks, June (Corollary Press) and Tournesol (Compline Press); and she co-translated two books by Yang Licai / Da Yong: Pee Poems (Circumference Books) and Prison Poems & Temple Speak (Circumference Books, forthcoming 2027). She has performed multidisciplinary works at 300 South Kelly Street, the Guggenheim Museum, the Renaissance Society, and Rising Tide Projects, and her work was the subject of a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson. Xu teaches at Columbia University and co-edits Canarium Books.
